Come join us in a member’s home for a fun night of sipping and evaluating wine while socializing in a casual environment.
Each guest brings a fancy hors d’oeuvre (no chips and dips) to share and two identical bottles of wine priced between $10-$20 — one is for the blind tasting and the other is a gift for the host. The host decides on the variety of wine. The bottle for the blind tasting should be inside a brown paper bag, which the wine store will provide, and the price of the wine written inside. As guests mingle and sip, each guest will complete a tally sheet rating the wines. At the end of the evening, the favorites are announced.
