The Newcomers Club of the Greater Park City Area was established in 1995 to help new residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties learn about and become involved in their new community.
We are a registered 501(c)(7) social club made up entirely of volunteers and are a vibrant, fun group of women, men, singles, and couples. Whether you are new to the area or new to having free time, we provide endless opportunities to get out and about and to socialize with old and new friends. In addition, Newcomers promotes friendship and shared interests in the local area. Our members include part-time and full-time residents who are active and involved.
To keep everyone busy, we offer a variety of activities for both outdoor and indoor pursuits. A sampling of what we offer includes hiking, skiing, card games, book club, wine tasting, fine dining, writing circle, and gardening. We also offer outings each month, which may be during the day as well as in the evening. These vary and may include a museum visit, a rafting or kayak trip, an event in Salt Lake City, an outdoor concert at Deer Valley, or a comedy show at Park City’s own Egyptian Theater. Prospective members may attend (3) three functions before they need to join.
In addition to all the activities and events we provide, we hold a monthly Coffee on the second Wednesday of every month at the Park City Community Church, 4501 Hwy 224, Park City, UT 84098, from 9:30-11:30 AM. We socialize over a complimentary continental breakfast and then we have our Speaker followed by a short business meeting. Many Speakers are from local non-profits who keep us up to date on their services and volunteer opportunities for our Membership. Other Speakers cover interesting and thought-provoking topics to help us broaden our horizons.
Come join us, get involved, learn something new, and meet some great people. We hope to see you soon!

To keep everyone safe, we ask members to consider staying at home if they have been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing cold, flu, or other respiratory symptoms, or to test themselves for COVID if they have any symptoms, before attending a Newcomer event.
We also ask everyone to be respectful of anyone who decides to wear a mask to our events.
