Hiking

From spring through fall, our intrepid hikers head for the trails to enjoy our beautiful mountains, get some exercise, and make new friends. Weekly hikes of four to six miles are scheduled mostly on weekdays on intermediate trails and last three to four hours. The group meets in the morning and carpools to the trailhead.

Most of our hikes are in and around Park City, but we also venture out to the Uintas, the Cottonwood Canyons, Midway, and elsewhere, often in search of wildflowers, waterfalls and fall foliage. Hikers bring water, snacks or lunch and occasionally we’ll stop for lunch at a local eatery after the hike. On trails where dogs are permitted, well-behaved dogs who are social with people and other dogs are allowed.
